3 Things You Need To Know To Attract A High Quality Man To Your Online Profile

Are you getting the results you want with your online dating profile?

If not, it could be that there are things written in your profile that are getting in the way of attracting your Mr. Right.

Using only the power of the pen, I work with clients to attract a higher quality man online.

Here are three things to know to attract the kind of man for whom you're looking:

1. You need to grab a man by his imagination and lead him into the EXPERIENCE OF YOU.

Listing all adjectives to describe yourself, activities you do and all the places you’ve traveled is not what a man cares about. Men choose a profile and, ultimately the woman with whom they want to be in relationship with, based on how he FEELS with her.

Your profile has to create a picture of what it would be like to be with you. How can you do this? Tell a story of a time or event that actually happened when you traveled to Madrid, for example. This will give him a sense of what it would be like to be with you.

2. Using demanding language like "you must be…", "no couch potatoes" or "no players" is a turn off to a man. While you may think that incorporating this into your profile will help weed out the wrong type of man, it actually says to a man that you’re dictatorial and difficult to please. A man in midlife dating has already had a long-term relationship and a critical woman could easily be his ex-girlfriend or ex-wife. Avoid the mistake of using negative language in your profile.

Think about the profiles you’ve read written by men that are insecure, angry, poorly spelled or possibly the worst - generic. You move right past them. The man will do the same if he reads all your stringent criteria.

3. Long, wordy profiles will cause a man to glaze over and click on the next profile. He’s not interested in your life story and all the activities that take up your time. The goal is to get his attention so that he sends a message. That’s it.

Write your profile in simple language with short sentences. Make it chatty and fun. Use humor if you can and keep it brief.

Writing your online dating profile is an art and something that I can help with. I’ve co-written and reviewed countless profiles that improve your results and capture men’s attention.

There are specific words your profile needs to attract the men you like. There are ways to create a profile (including how to post the right photos) that will help you stand out.

How can you create the experience of you in 400 words or less? Or, create prompts on an app that show your personality?
