Are you listening? He's telling you who he is from the first contact

If you are looking for answers, the best thing to do is pause, get still, and listen.

Cultivating the ability to listen to our inner wisdom, heart, soul, and intuition is the most important skill we will ever learn.

If you traded all the time you spent defending why you can't have the life and relationship you desire and instead took up genuinely listening, your whole life would change.

When you know how to listen to your own wisdom, you can genuinely listen to others instead of waiting for your turn to talk.

Listening is the fastest path to connecting with another and to discern a man's intentions in matters of the heart. 

Were you listening when he said he was not looking for a relationship?

Were you listening when he said that he was not ready to be exclusive, but you had sex with him anyway?

Were you listening when he said his boss directed him to attend anger management classes?

Were you listening when he said that he spends all his money, so he doesn't have anything saved for the future?

Were you listening when he said he hadn't spoken to his mother in ten years?

Were you listening when he said he doesn't read and isn't interested in what's happening in the world around him? 

Men tell you who they are from the first interaction: the first text/email, phone call, and date. Men are honest and direct about these things. 

A woman thinks that all his admissions don't apply to her because she will be the one to turn him around. 

"Yes! Another project!" she says to herself.

If you've watched the American television show Mad Men, the show's main character, Don Draper, said it well, 

"People tell you who they are, but we ignore it - because we want them to be who we want them to be."

When you fail to listen, you are not in the present. You're thinking ahead to what could be. Your dating experience unfolds in the moment—not in the future. 

Listening to your new guy and your intuition is vital in dating and relationships. When you do this, you'll make the right choice every time.
